Training: National Youth Music Theatre, Birmingham University and The Royal Academy of Music where she received The Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award. Nicky was made an Associate of The Royal Academy of Music in 2022.

Nicky was a backing and session singer, supporting names such as Tom Jones, Lesley Garrett, Elaine Paige and Cynthia Erivo. Nicky made her Off-Broadway debut in A Broadway Diva Christmas (The Julia Miles Theatre, New York).
